Our team 3 Data meeting #2 was held on Monday 6/22/15 from 5:45 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. Prior to our meeting, our team leader had set up a board on Trello.com for our team to have all the information together and move forward with the different tasks necessary for Data Meeting #2. I loved using trello.com and I will definitely use it with my students next year; at the beginning it was confusing because we were using trello, Umuc class website, emails, texts, and group me, but after I attended the live conference with Dr. Khalsa, I had a better understanding of the expectations of the tasks. All members uploaded their artifacts for review by the end of the weekend in a google doc our team leader had created for us. Our data meeting was held using BlueJeans this is the first time we tried a voice conference. This made our meeting go faster, but sometimes we tried talking over each other by accident, and we learned how to take turns as the meeting progressed.
All members presented interesting and relevant data to share during the meeting using the Artifact tracking sheet in a google doc. We all had different artifacts, thoughts, and everyone was very helpful which made the data team very interesting. Constructive feedback and questions were provided by all members. Expectations and goals were set in order to move forward after DM#2.
We determined to use Group ME to maintain our conversations throughout the week as well as the UMUC board. The group determined that we will explore new technology platforms as we move forward to experiment with other technology tools. From week #5 I personally learned that although sometimes it is hard to work with a group of 5, my group is very professional, efficient, and I appreciate all the team work and all the constructive feedback from all the members of my group. This experience has taught me to give my 100% to the role that I am assign to for that week. I look forward for DM#3.
