Standard J: The online teacher interacts in a professional, effective manner with colleagues, parents, and other members of the community to support students’ success" (iNacol, 2011).

3. What lessons were most beneficial for you? Explain why.
According to iNacol, standards for online teachers are in place to help guide digital instruction. These modules helped me planned, designed, and foster collaboration using digital tools to deliver content in an exciting way preparing me to meet standard C. I was able to join digital communities, create videos to show my students an innovating way to create content, I was able to create my blog and post answers to the tasks, I was able to create presentations to show my students how to behave well in an online community using digital citizen elements, AUPs, and ethical elements to meet standard E. Standard J was met through out all the modules.
All the strategies presented in the modules are very effective for online safety. I will take away to incorporate in my classes the AUP, digital citizen elements, netiquette, character traits, DLC, digital rights and responsibilities. The following artifacts were created.
Reflecting on this assignment, I have gained valuable information about technology use in the digital environment and all the resources available for online learning. The content of the modules has helped me look outside the box and explore different tools and methods of online teaching. This is just the beginning of my journey and I know it is a long process. I also know that technology is always evolving, but the more I learn, the more I feel comfortable trying new educational tools and strategies to deliver online content to make it fun and engaging for students.
